Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in Uttaranchal, at a few places in east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms. are: Himachal Pradesh: Kasol 6, Pandoh 3 and Bhang and Solangnala 1 each, East Rajasthan: Didwana and Manoharthana 2 each and Chhabra, Fatehpur, Nainwa, Niwai and Neem-ka-thana 1 each, West Rajasthan: Nokha and Sujangarh 1 each, East Uttar Pradesh: Kanpur 3, Bahraich and Dalmau 2 each and Bani, Bhinga, Katerniaghat and Shardanagar 1 each, West Uttar Pradesh: Dabri 3 and Uttaranchal: Banbasa 7, Uttarkashi 6, Rudraprayag 4, Dehradun 3 and Josimath, Rishikesh and Srinagar 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of 19th July: Rain/thundershowers will occur at many places in Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and east Rajasthan and at isolated places in the rest of the region.
