Koirala to take up demand for Constituent Assembly
Kathmandu, April 26
Maoists in Nepal today withdrew their blockade of Kathmandu and district headquarters till Friday, when the first session of the restored Parliament begins, following a request from Mr G P Koirala who has been named to head a new government.

HC orders release of 46 Pak prisoners
Chandigarh, April 26
The Punjab and Haryana High Court today ordered the immediate release of 46 prisoners hailing from Pakistan, including three minor children. Out of 46 prisoners , 42 are those who are languishing in various jails of Punjab despite their prison term having ended a long time ago.
