Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and Rajasthan. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures rose appreciably in Jammu and Kashmir, rose in Haryana and Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, above normal in Himachal Pradesh and east Rajasthan, below normal in east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 41.4°C recorded at Jhalawar and Sriganganagar (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of April 25: Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Punjab and Uttaranchal. Isolated dust storm/thunderstorm is likely in Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of April 25: Partly cloudy sky with possibility of thundery development accompanied with squall in some areas. The maximum temperature will be around 39°C.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi forecast valid until the morning of April 25: Development of thunderclouds likely at a few places. Squall with wind speed exceeding 65 km ph is likely at isolated places.
