30 pc of Indians suffer from coronary ailments Chandigarh, April 22 Dr Ritu Sareen,

Fortis (Mohali), were special invitees at the function. Dr Mahant, executive director of the Fortis, spoke on the recent advances in the cardiac surgery. He said approximately 30 per cent of Indians suffered from coronary ailments and the percentage was much higher in North India. He also stated that cardiac abnormalities were one of the leading causes of infant mortality. |
