Rainfall:
Rain/snow has occurred at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. Banihal (Jammu and Kashmir) recorded 1 cm of precipitation.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were largely above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, markedly above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and appreciably above normal in east Uttar Pradesh. The lowest temperature in the plains was 12.4°C recorded at Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of February 22: Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of February 22: Partly cloudy sky with possibility of Thundry development in some areas towards evening/night. Mist/shallow fog in the morning. The minimum temperature will be around 16°C.
