Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures rose in Jammu and Kashmir and west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. Departure: This was markedly above normal in Uttaranchal, appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, above normal in Haryana, Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 6.5°C recorded at Karnal (Haryana).

Forecast valid until the morning of February 8: Rain/snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of February 8: Partly cloudy sky. Mist in the morning. The minimum temperature will be around 9°C.
