Mohali, January 21
Residents of Phase III B 1 aired their grievances at a meeting held with the Administrator, Mr Darshan Singh Sandhu, here today.
A former municipal councillor said that problem related to parking was faced by residents near the rehri market in the area.

He suggested that there was a store of the PWD in the area which should be got vacated for providing parking facility. The road outside the rehri market was turning out to be a traffic bottleneck as persons coming to the market parked their vehicles on the roadside.

It was also pointed that a catering company was parking its vehicles on the footpath as a result of which people using the footpath were put to inconvenience. Residents demanded strict action against those who dumped malba in parks and proper sanitation in the area.
