Panchkula skaters clinch title

Four goals netted by international roller hockey player Sahil Khattar of Panchkula enabled his team demolish Faridabad by 6-3 in the finals of senior group roller hockey event in the 19th Sushil Kumar Memorial Haryana State Roller Skating Championships that concluded at Blue Bird School, Sector 16, here today.

Panchkula took an early lead by scoring three quick goals. Down by three goals, Faridabad were back in the game, when Amit Ahuja, captain of the team, reduced the margin to 2-3 by netting two goals. Panchkula wrapped up the title tie by 6-3 in their favour.

Karnal lifted the overall championship trophy.

CITCO Board of Directors

The Chandigarh Industrial and Tourism Development Corporation (CITCO) has reconstituted the Board of Directors, sources said here today.

The members include the Home Secretary, the Finance Secretary, Managing Director of CITCO, Deputy Commissioner, representatives from SIDBI, PNB, HDFC, CII and the Directors of the Tourism Departments of Haryana and Punjab.
