PULSE POLIO: As many as 1.5 lakh children below 5 years age will be covered during special pulse polio drive on December 11, 12 and 13 in the district. For this, 595 teams had been constituted said the Additional Deputy Commissioner (development), Mr Parkash Singh, after holding a meeting with district medical officers here on Wednesday. SUVIDHA CAMP: With a view of solving problems of villagers on the spot, the district administration has decided to organise suvidha camps in different villages. The first suvidha camp will be held at Lutheri village in Ropar on December 9. Besides the Deputy Commissioner, Mr H.I.S Garewal, officials from all departments including police, licensing department and others will attend the camp.
