Farm varsity youth fest a big draw
Tribune News Service

Ludhiana, November 19
The ongoing youth festival being organised by Punjab Agricultural University here has proved to be a big draw with hundreds of students converging on the open air theatre to witness various events. Despite severe cold, the students stayed put right up to the conclusion of the events.

It was a great cultural extravaganza with students from different streams getting their extra curricular traits tested. The musical evenings, open air plays, mimicry shows and the vibrant bhangra and giddha kept students and teachers spell bound.

The spectators appeared to be as much involved as the performers themselves. For each action, or a song, hundreds of hands were raised with shouts and cheers. There was no end to the whistles that kept on blowing all through the events, making the show more lively. And who could resist tapping of the feet when bhangra and giddha dancers trouped in setting the stage on fire.
