Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures fell in Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere. Departure: This was appreciably below normal in Jammu and Kashmir, above normal in Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 6.9°C recorded at Ludhiana (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of November 19: Rain/snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
