Moonsoon has been vigorous in Haryana, east Rajasthan, West Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal.

Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in Haryana, east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, at many places in west Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh, at afew places in Himachal Pradesh and east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region.

The chief amount of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Jind and Jhajjar 10 each, Guhla and Rohtak 8 each, Dadri, Jagadhari, Karnal, Panipat and Tajewala 7 each, Dadupur, Julana and Narnaul 6 each, Ambala, Chhachhraulii, Gannaur and Uchana 4 each, Naraingarh and Sampla 4 each, Bawal, Kaithal, Mahendergarh and Sirsa 3 each, Ayanagar, Rewari, tohana and Thanesar 2 each and New Delhi (Palam) and Gohana 1 each, Himachal Pradesh: Paonta 7, Nahan 4, Shimla 3 and Kasauli, Rampurbushahar and solan 1 each; Punjab: Patiala 2.

Heavy rainfall warning: Scattered heavy rains with isolated very heavy falls are likely in Haryana, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal during next 48 hours. Isolated heavy rain is also likely in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh during the same period.
