The pistachio lovers in the city have a reason to smile. Besides snacking, fitness and lifestyle, the pistachios now come packed with heart health.

Not to forget, the pistachio power comes along with the women power as the check-up camp is meant exclusively for women.

Optimistic about the sales figure to rise in the next season which have been just a few hundred tones so far, Keith Sunderlal, the Indian representative of the CPC appeared all informed about the nutritional share of the Californian nut if not about its market share.

Emphasising on pistachio as a great healthy snacking option, Keith Sunderlal informed that CPC will promote heart-healthy diet not just through Apollo Clinic but also through retailers across the country.

Meanwhile the Californian pistachio is available at a very few select outlet in the country and its pricing is also not known by many including Keith.

The heart-health awareness camp at present is being organised only at Gurgaon and Chandigarh.

In Chandigarh, the camp will be on at the Apollo Clinic, Sector 9 and physicians from the Apollo Clinic will be present to advise women about their being at a heart risk by conducting a general heart check-up and afree ECG if required.
