Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were largely above normal in east Uttar Pradesh, markedly above normal in west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, appreciably above normal in Haryana and Rajasthan, above normal in Himachal Pradesh and Punjab and normal in Jammu and Kashmir. The highest maximum temperature in the region was 47.1º degrees Celsius recorded at Allahabad (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of June 22: Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Duststorm/ thunderstorm is likely at a few places in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Haryana and Punjab.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of June 22: Mainly clear sky with dust haze. Duststorm/thunderstorm accompanied with squall is likely in some areas. The maximum temperature will be around 44 degrees Celsius.
