Heat wave conditions have abated from Rajasthan. Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in Jammu and Kashmir, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, and at isolated places in Punjab, west Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. Weather was dry in Haryana.
Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures fell appreciably in east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh, fell in Haryana, Punjab and west Rajasthan and changed little in elsewhere.

This was below normal in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The highest maximum temperature in the region was 43.2°C recorded at Churu (Rajasthan).
