Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated place in Jammu and Kashmir and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures rose in Haryana and east Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were markedly above normal in east Uttar Pradesh, appreciably above normal in Haryana and Rajasthan and above normal in the rest of the region. The highest maximum temperature in the region was 47.1°C recorded at Sriganganagar (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of June 6: Rain/thundershowers are likely in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Isolated duststorm/thunderstorm is likely in Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of June 6: Partly cloudy sky with dust haze. Duststorm/thunderstorm accompanied with squall is likely in some areas. The maximum temperature will be around 43°C.
