Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures fell in east Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, below normal in Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The highest maximum temperature in the region was 38.1°C recorded at Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of April 3: Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of April 3: Mainly clear sky. The maximum temperature will be around 32°C.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi forecast valid until the morning of April 3: Sky will be mainly clear.
