Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: These were appreciably above normal in west Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, above normal in Himachal Pradesh and east Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was 7°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of March 1: Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Punjab and west Rajasthan. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of March 1: Partly cloudy sky with possibility of thundery development in some areas. Minimum temperature will be around 13°C.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi: Forecast valid until the morning of March 1: Development of thunder clouds is likely at a few places.
