Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at a few places in Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers have occurred at a few places in east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures changed little.

Departures: These were markedly below normal east Rajasthan, appreciably below normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, west Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was 2.4°C recorded at Udaipur City (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of February 24: Rain/snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
