Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at most places in Jammu and Kashmir, at many places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Rain/thunder showers have occurred at many places in Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Haryana. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amount of precipitation in cm are: Himachal Pradesh: Sundernagar 2 and Dhundhi 1.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell appreciably in Haryana, Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh, fell in west Rajasthan, appreciably below normal in Punjab and east Rajasthan, below normal in Haryana, markedly above normal in east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was 3.0°C recorded at Udaipur AP (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of February 22: Rain/snow will occur at most places in Jammu and Kashmir and at many places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places in Punjab and at isolated places in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in Rajasthan. Isolated hailstorm is likely in Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh.

Heavy rainfall warning: Scattered heavy rain/snow with isolated very heavy falls is likely in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir during the next 48 hours. Isolated heavy rain/snow is likely in Uttaranchal during the same period.
