Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at most places in Jammu and Kashmir, at many places in Himachal Pradesh and at a few places in Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in Punjab and at isolated places in Haryana. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of precipitation in cm are : Himachal Pradesh: Rampurbushahar 2 and Dhundhi, Guler, Ghamroor, Nagrotasurian and Sujanpurtira 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Quazigund 10, Srinagar 5 and Jammu 3 and Punjab: Nangal and Patiala 1 each.
Temperatures:
Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell appreciably in west Rajasthan, fell in east Rajasthan, rose in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal and changed a little elsewhere.
Departures:
They were markedly below normal in west Rajasthan, appreciably below normal in east Rajasthan, below normal in Punjab, markedly above normal in east Uttar Pradesh, above normal in west Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in south Rajasthan. Isolated hailstorm is likely in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh.

Scattered heavy rain/snow with isolated very heavy rainfalls is likely in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir during the next 48 hours. Isolated heavy rain/snow is likely in Uttaranchal during the same period.
