Rainfall: Rain or snow has occurred at most places in Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal and at a few places in Himachal Pradesh. Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in Punjab, at a few places in west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Haryana, west Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh. Weather was dry in the rest of the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in east Rajasthan, rose in Punjab and changed little elsewhere.

Forecast valid until the morning of February 20: Rain or snow will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in Punjab and at a few places in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in north Rajasthan. Weather will be mainly dry in south Rajasthan. Isolated hailstorm is likely in Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh.

Heavy rainfall warning: Isolated heavy rain or snow is likely in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal during the next 48 hours.
