Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh. Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in east Rajasthan. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in east Rajasthan, rose in Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: These were markedly above normal in Haryana and west Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in Punjab, east Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 9.2°C recorded at Amritsar.

Forecast valid until the morning of February 16: Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Uttaranchal. Isolated rain/ thundershowers are likely in Haryana, Punjab, north Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of February 16: Generally cloudy sky with possibility of light rain/thundershowers in some areas. Mist in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around 13°C.
