Rain/snow has occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir. Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in Punjab, at many places in Haryana and at a few places in west Rajasthan. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of precipitation in cms are: Himachal Pradesh: Dhunhi 6, Bhang 3, Solangnala 2 and Kasauli, Kandaghat and Shimla 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Jammu and Katra 3 each, Punjab: Amritsar 1 and west Rajasthan: Sriganganagar 1.

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in Punjab, rose in east Rajasthan and changed a little elsewhere. Departures: They were markedly above normal in Haryana and Rajasthan, above normal in Haryana and Rajasthan, above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh and normal in the reat of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 6°C recorded at Amritsar.
