New Delhi, February 10
Rain/snow has occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir. Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in Punjab, at many places in Haryana and at a few places in west Rajasthan. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of precipitation in cms are: Himachal Pradesh: Dhunhi 6, Bhang 3, Solangnala 2 and Kasauli, Kandaghat and Shimla 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Jammu and Katra 3 each, Punjab: Amritsar 1 and west Rajasthan: Sriganganagar 1.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in Punjab, rose in east Rajasthan and changed a little elsewhere. Departures: They were markedly above normal in Haryana and Rajasthan, above normal in Haryana and Rajasthan, above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh and normal in the reat of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 6°C recorded at Amritsar.

Forecast valid until the morning of February 12: Rain/snow will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places in Haryana, Punjab and west Rajasthan and at isolated places in east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region. Isolated hailstorm is likely in Haryana and Punjab.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of February 12: Partly cloudy sky with possibility of thundery development/light rain in some areas. Mist/fog in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around 12°C.
