Amritsar
remains coldest at 1.2° C
Chandigarh, January 13 Ambala and Chandigarh recorded normal lows of 6.1° C and 6.8° C respectively, according to the Meteorological Department here. The minimum teperature at Karnal increased by three degrees to record 5.7° C, while Rohtak had a low of 5.2° C and Hisar had 7.6° C, three degrees above normal. Amritsar continued to be the coldest zone in the plains at 1.2° C and Ludhiana had a low of 6.5° C, up by one degree. Patiala also recorded an above normal minimum of 6.8° C, the Met department said.
