Rainfall: Rain or snow has occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Departures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose appreciably in Punjab, rose in west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were below normal in east Uttar Pradesh, appreciably above normal in west Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 1.7°C recorded at Amritsar.

Forecast valid until the morning of January 11: Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Isolated rain/thundershowers are likely in Haryana and Punjab. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of January 11: Mainly clear sky likely to become partly cloudy tomorrow. Mist/fog in the morning.
