Rainfall: Rain/snow reported at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry in the rest of the region. Pahalgam (Jammu and Kashmir) recorded 1 cm. of precipitation.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell appreciably in Punjab, rose in east Rajasthan, rose appreciably in west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: They were below normal in Punjab and Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and east Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh, west Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 0.0°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).
