Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in west Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: They were appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh, above normal in west Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 3.5°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of December 16: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of December 16: Clear sky. Mist/ Shallow fog in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around 8°C.
