Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in west Rajasthan, above normal in east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 3.4°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of December 9: Rain or snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of December 9: Partly clouudy sky with possibility of thundry development/light rain in some areas. Mist/fog in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around 8°C.
