The two factions representing Mr Chander Mohan Kalia, President of the DMCH Employees Union and Ms Rajwant Kaur, continued to level allegations against one another. Reacting to the submitted report by the Investigation Officer, Mr Kalia, alleged that it was a biased decision. He threatened to intensify the agitation if Ms Randhawa was not expelled for her conduct. On the other hand Ms Randhawa said that many employees wanted to get rid from Mr Kalia’s highhandedness.

Meanwhile, the hospital management has said since the Investigation Officer had submitted the report and action against Ms Rajwant and Mr Kunwar Singh would be taken accordingly, the employees who were not reporting on their duty should rejoin their work, so that the patients are looked after and hospital did not suffer the substantial loss of revenue.

Meanwhile, the working in the OPDs and rest of the hospital went on smoothly today. The medical and para-medical staff took proper care of the indoor patients and partial billing for the convenience of patients was done at the emergency counter set up by hospital authorities.
