Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh. Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Haryana and Punjab. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. Tehri (Uttaranchal) has recorded 1 cm of rainfall.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell appreciably in Haryana, fell in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, west Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Punjab and west Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 7°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab) and Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh).
