Rainfall: Rain or snow has occurred at isolated places in Uttaranchal. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, fell in Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were appreciably below normal in Haryana, Punjab, west Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, Below normal in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 34.6°C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell appreciably in east Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were appreciably below normal in east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, below normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 12.6C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).
