Using flower remedies to restore harmony of mind
Sarbjit Dhaliwal
Tribune News Service

Chandigarh, October 7
“Say it with flowers”, is a common saying. But why ? Any reason to say so? Yes, there is. Flowers not only freshen up, but also heal minds crippled by fear, anger, aggression, anxiety, depression and some biological disorders. “If any of you suffer from such ailment, try flowers and see the miracle happening”, says Ms Preeti Bhatia, a trained practitioner of flower remedies.

A teacher by profession, Ms Bhatia, says that flower remedies are the most “perfect system” of treatment of ailments originating from a negative state of the mind, that is anger, anxiety, aggression.

The root-cause of several serious ailments such as blood pressure, heart problems, abrupt behaviour, chronic headaches, cramps, and utter dejection is a negative state of mind. Shock, grief, pain, loss and tension lead to anger, anxiety, depression etc and devastates even the most strong-willed and mentally tough persons, says Ms Bhatia.

Invented by Dr Edward Bach, who was an allopathic doctor in the UK, flower remedies are now scientifically used to cure people. These restore the harmony of the mind and built up the natural defences in one’s body. Suffering from an incurable chronic disease, Dr Bach, in course of finding treatment of his own ailment, invented “miracle remedies”. He prepared mother tinctures from flowers to cure various ailments, besides setting up a training centre “Mount Vermon” at Oxfordshire in the UK. Ms Bhatia has spent some time in UK to learn the use of these remedies.

“I have seen miracles happening”, asserts Ms Bhatia. These remedies are not only effective in case of human beings but also animals, she claims. A ferocious dog can be sobered in a few days by using this remedy.

These have a wonderful effect on mentally retarded kids as far as improving their mental faculties is concerned. Tinctures help in the regeneration of mental faculties and improving spastic movements, and speech etc “With the consent of their parents, we have been using flower remedies to cure mentally retarded kids in St Stephen’s School, where I teach”, says Ms Bhatia. The results are amazing.

“The Principal, Mr H. Carver, has set up a separate wing in the school to provide free of cost care to mentally retarded kids”, she adds. Besides it, there are about 20 other mentally retarded kids from places like Sangrur, Patiala, Samrala etc under her treatment. Women, right from puberty, fertility, infertility, pregnancy, benefit tremendously from the remedies, she adds.

Ms Bhatia says there are 38 flower remedies, which are safe, simple, harmless and can cure all the negative states of mind. Obviously, she has to study patient, the total personality, background and problems and ailment by having intensive interaction with him or her to start treatment. Ms Bhatia says an over-attached or possessive mother’s fear to lose son to her daughter-in-law can play havoc with her mind leading to problems like asthma. Often worry wrecks human beings. It weakens one’s defence system to fight problems. Flower remedies cure worry effectively.

Ms Bhatia charges nothing from the patients. However, patients have to spend money to procure tinctures from the U.K.
