Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Uttaranchal, at many places in Haryana and Punjab, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and

Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amount of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Guhla 7, Chandigarh 5, Ambala and Naraingarh 4 each, Jagadhari and Karnal 3 each, Pehowa and Thanesar 2 each and Panipat 1, Jammu and Kashmir: Batote 2 and Jammu and Katra 1 each, Punjab: Rajpura 2 and Ludhiana and Patiala 1 each, West Rajasthan: Sriganganagar 1, East Uttar Pradesh: Ayodhya and Ballia 2 each and Jaunpur, Lucknow and Mirzapur 1 each, West Uttar Pradesh: Narora and Sarsawa 1each and Uttaranchal: Dehradun, Pantnagar and Uttarkashi 1 each.
