Rainfall: Rain and thundershowers occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose in Jammu and Kashmir but changed little elsewhere.

Departures: They were appreciably above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Rajasthan and above normal in the rest of the region.

Forecast valid until the morning of April 13: Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of April 13: Mainly clear sky. Strong surface winds likely during day time. Maximum temperature will be around 39°C.
