Cosmetic surgery at CMCH made easy on purse Ludhiana, March 18 The Department of Dermatology at the CMCH had decided to start cosmetology and minor dermato-surgical procedures like microdermabrasion “Powerpeel” for scarring due to pimples and chicken pox, cryotherapy for warts, premature ageing and punch grafting for localised resistant stable leucoderma, she said. “People spend a lot of money on creams and treatments in parlours to get rid of these problems. The new facilities at the Department of Dermatology provide painless procedures requiring no admission. These will be performed by qualified dermatologists to yield results with minimal side-effects at an affordable cost. Patient discomfort would be minimal and they could resume normal activities immediately after these procedures,” she added. |

350 examined at medical camp
Ludhiana, March 18 The camp was inaugurated by Mr Harmel Singh Grewal, a Canada-based NRI, who appealed to people to help the poor and needy by providing medical health services and medicines free of cost. He also appealed to them to donate liberally for such camps. More than 350 persons were examined.
The chief guest on the occasion, Dr Inderjit Kaur, president, Pingalwara Society, Amritsar, in her address congratulated the organisers of the camp. |
