Cold conditions are prevailing in some parts of Uttar Pradesh.

Rainfall: Weather was mainly dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in East Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere.

Depature: They were appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and West Rajasthan, above normal in Himachal Pradesh and East Rajasthan, below normal in West Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 4.9°C recorded at Ambala.

Forecast valid until the morning of January 13: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of January 13: Mainly clear sky. Mist/fog in the morning. Minimum temperatue will be around 7°C.
