Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose appreciably in Punjab, rose in Haryana, west Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Rajasthan, above normal in Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 8.4°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).
