Rainfall:
Weather was dry over the region. Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose appreciably in east Uttar Pradesh, rose in Himachal Pradesh and changed a little elsewhere. Departure: They were above normal in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and west Rajasthan, below normal in east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 37.1°C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in west Rajasthan and changed a little elsewhere. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in west Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Haryana and east Rajasthan.

Forecast valid until the morning of October 30: Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
