The 31-year-old who will be playing the World Cup of Golf in the US early next month, added one more birdie on the sixth before signing off with yet another birdie. The pro from Meerut could have ended up with a better score but for the birdies missed from small distances on at least four occasions. A 25-footer on the sixth was the pick of his birdies. “It was after the round that I felt a stiff back and was fired. A good sleep, and I will be ready,” said a Digvijay, who had just 25 putts for the day. Meanwhile, Gaurav Ghei, who will partner Digvijay at the World Cup of Golf, opened his birdie count with successive birdies on third and fourth and followed up with a similar act on the 14th and 15th.
