He was addressing the farmers after inaugurating a one-day mushroom mela, organised by the Agriculture Research and Development Centre, Murthal and National Horticulture Board, Gurgaon in the centre’s complex.

Mr Miglani said it was a golden opportunity for the farmers of the districts falling under the NCR region to make full use of the marketing facilities and opportunities being provided by over one crore population of Delhi.

The Financial Commissioner, Agriculture Haryana, Mr K.S. Bhauria, said with the passage of time, the agriculture market has extended widely at national and international levels and in this era of global competition, the farmers with better qualities and less expenditure would be able to survive.
