Ramgarhia College wins quiz contest

Ludhiana, September 17
The Phagwara branch of Bharat Overseas Bank organised an inter college quiz competition at Guru Nanak College, Sukhchainanan Sahib, Phagwara, on Monday. Ramgarhia College of Engineering and Technology, St Soldier College, Kamla Nehru College for Women, Guru Nanak College, GNBL College, Mohan Lal Uppal DAV College, Ramgarhia College of Education and SN College, Banga, participated in the contest.

According to Mr Pankaj Sharma, Branch Manager of the bank, Ramgarhia College of Engineering and Technology was declared the winner, while Guru Nanak College and Kamla Nehru College secured the second and the third position, respectively. Quizmaster, Mr Rajinder Kumar, an employee of the bank, conducted the quiz.

Mr Baljit Singh Sekhon, Director, Youth Welfare, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, was the chief guest. Mr C.B. Gopalkrishanan, Manager Development of the bank, briefed about the activities of the bank. He said, the bank had recently opened a branch in Thailand also. Mr Sharma presented the vote of thanks.
