Monsoon has been vigorous in Haryana and east Rajasthan and active in Himachal Pradesh.

Rainfall: Rainor thundershowers have occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh and east Rajasthan, at many placews in Haryana and Punjab, at a few places in west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: Haryana: Ambala 7, DelhiRidge 6, Dadupur 3 and Ayanagar, New Delhi (Palam), Rohtak and Thanesar 2 each, Himachal Pradesh: Nahan 10, Paonta and Shimla 5 each, Nadaun 3 and Sujanpurtira 1, Punjab: Halwara 8, Patiala 7, Adampur, Ludhiana an Nangal 1 each, east Rajasthan: Baithalidam 15, Bhanwargarh 10, Bhimsagar, Degod, Khanpur, Nainwa and Sangod 8 each, Asnawar and Baran 6 each, Jhalwar, Kotri and Manoharthana 5 each, Ramgarh Dam 4, Jaiur A P < Kothari, Mandalgarh and Talabshahi 3 each, Amer, Bassi, Dholpur and Ramgarh 2 each and Bharatur, Sikar and Udaipur A P 1 each, West RAjasthan: Suratgarh 3 and Ratangarh and Sujangarh 1 each, East Uttar Pradesh: Allahabad 3, Mirzapur2 and Banda and Lucknow A P 1 each, West Uttar Pradesh: Hindon 8, Sarsawa 3 and Kalpi 2 and Uttaranchal: Hardwar 6 and Haripur 3.
