Rainfall: Rain or thudnershowers have occurred at many places in Jammu and Kashmir, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in west Rajasthan and at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and and west Uttar Prasdesh. Weather was dry in east Rajasthan. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: Haryana: Jagadhari 2 and Chandigarh, Chhachhrauli, Dadupur and Kalka 1 each, Himachal Pradesh: Nahan 6, Paonta 5 and Bhang 1, Jammu and Kashmir: Jammu 3 and Pahlgam 1, Punjab: Dasuya 3, West Rajasthan: Suratgarh 3, East Uttar Pradesh: Shardanagar 10, Palliakalan 9, Chandradeepghat and Katerniaghat 7 each, Birdghat 6, Kakrahi 4, Bansi and Ghazipur 3 each, Ayodhya and Khadda 2 each and Balmikinagar, Elginbridge, Mirzapur and Regoli 1 each, West Uttar Pradesh: Sarsawa 2 and Uttaranchal: Haripur 9, Mukteshwar 6, Banbasa 4 and Joshimath and uttarkashi 1 each.
