Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Uttaranchal, at many places in east Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and at isolated places in Haryana and west Rajasthan. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in mms are: Haryana: Kalka 7 and Ayanagar 2, Himachal Pradesh: Shimla 5, Kasol 4, Nahan 3, Kandaghat and Rajgarh 2 each and Barsar 1, East Rajasthan: Kaman, Pachnadam, Sikri and Sevalahead 8 each, Baretha Bandh and Kumher 7 each, Bharatpur 6, Baseri and Sikrai 5 each, Bari, Basuwa, Banswara, Helena, Keladevi and Radiadam 4 each, Angai, Bayana, Karauli, Kushalgarh, Nagar and Talabsahi 3 each, Gangapur City, Hingota, Mahuwa and Roopwas 2 each and Pratapgarh and Viratnagar 1 each, West Rajasthan: Sriganganagar 3, East Uttar Pradesh: Bansi, Balrampur and Ghazipur 6 each, Birdghat, Ballia, Chillaghat, Chhatnag and Dalmau 5 each, Gorakhpur and Mirzapur 4 each, Banda, Jaunpur, Kakrahi and Kakardharighat 3 each, Allahabad, Fatehgarh, Mukhlispur, Sultanpur and Varanasi A.P. 2 each and Ankinghat, Basti, Bhatpurwaghat, Chandradeepghat, Elginbridge, Khadda, Regoli and Turtipar 1 each, West Uttar Pradesh: Kalpi 2 and Bareilly, Dabri, Mainpuri and Shahjina 1 each and Uttaranchal: Rudraprayag 5, Dehradun, Joshimath and Tehri 3 each, Pantnagar 2 and Banbasa and Haripur 1 each.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of August 15: Mainly cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers, heavy in some areas.
