Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have been reported at most places in Himachal Pradesh and east Uttar Pradesh, at many places in Haryana, Punjab and west Uttar Pradesh, at a few places in east Rajasthan and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in mm are: Haryana: Kalka and Palwal 5 each, Berikhas, Dadri Toye, Karnal, Nilokheri and Naraingarh 3 each, Gurgaon, and Pehowa 2 each and Ayanagar, Ambala, Delhi Ridge, Guhla, Hissar, Jagadhari, Rohtak and Thanesar 1 each; Himachal Pradesh: Bangana 25, Nadaun 22, Sujanpurtira 10, Berthin and Guler 9 each, Ghamroor, Kahu and Kasol 6 each, Kangra 5, Dharamsala 4, Sandhole 3, Karsog 2 and Shimla 1; Punjab: Ropar 6, Balachaur 5, Khanna, Ludhiana, Nangal and Samrala 3 each and Patiala 1; east Rajasthan: Jayal, Kotputli and Malsisar 2 each and Khetri, Navalgarh and Pratapgarh 1 each; west Rajasthan: Ratangarh 1, east Uttar Pradesh: Balmikinagar 11, Khadda 6, Chillaghat 5, Ghazipur and Sultanpur 4 each, Ayodhya, Ballia, Kakrahi and Rae Bareli 3 each, Bansi, Banda and Regoli 2 each and Birdghat, Chandradeepghat, Dalmau, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Mirzapur and Turtipar 1 each; west Uttar Pradesh: Shahjina 3, Auraiya 2 and Hindon and Mohana 1 each; and Uttaranchal: Hardwar 5 and Banbasa 2.
