Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in east Rajasthan, at a few places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, west Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Jind 1; Himachal Pradesh: Kumarsain 3, Kangra 2 and Bhang 1, Jammu and Kashmir: Quazigund 3; Punjab: Faridkot 3 and Raya 2; east Rajasthan: Govindgarh, Galiakot and Kishanganj 4 each, Binay and Pisangan 3 each, Amer, Banswara, Develi, Gangapur City, Kushalgarh, Merta City, Srinagar and Sajangarh 2 each and Arthuna, Chabra, Chikhli, Dungarpur, Ghatol, Garhi, Jagpura, Kanba, Kesarpura, Pratapgarh, Shahpura, Sagwara and Veja Dam 1 each; west Rajasthan: Gharsana 3 and Anupgarh, Jalore and Sardarshahr 1 each, East Uttar Pradesh: Varanasi A.P. 2 and Ballia, Kanpur and Sultanpur 1 each, West Uttar Pradesh: Etawah 2 and Uttaranchal: Rudraprayag 3.
