Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in east Rajasthan, at a few places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and west Rajasthan and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather was mainly dry in Punjab. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Narwana 3. and Hisar and Jind 1 each, Himachal Pradesh: Bharwain 2 and Rajgarh, Shimla and Sangrah 1 each, east Rajasthan: Kumehr, Umedsagar, Rambag and Thanagaji 4 each, Bassi, Bari, Behror, Deeg, Helena and Talabshahi 3 each, Ajan 2 and Jaipur, Jaismond and Silisad 1 each, west Rajasthan: Jodhpur 2 and Barmer, Jaisalmer and Ratangarh 1 each, east Uttar Pradesh: Dalmau 6, Khadda 5 and Gorakhpur 1, and west Uttar Pradesh: Mathura 3.

Forecast valid until the morning of July 10: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana, Punjab, west Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir.

Heavy rainfall warning: Isolated heavy rain is likely in Himachal Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal during the next 48 hours.
