Heat wave conditions are prevailing in parts of Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.

Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in west Rajasthan. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. Sriganganagar (west Rajasthan) recorded 1 cm of rainfall.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures changed little. Departures: They were appreciably above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and above normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 46.3°C recorded at Dholpur (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of June 3: Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Isolated dust storm or thunderstorm is likely in north Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of June 3: Mainly clear sky with dust haze.Thundery development accompanied by squall is likely in some areas. Maximum temperature will be around 43°C.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi: Forecast valid until the morning of June 3: Development of thunderclouds is likely at a few places. Squall with wind speed exceeding 65 kmph is likely at isolated places.
