SAIL cruise into Shera Pandit semis New Delhi, May 5 SAIL, who won the toss and elected to bat, scored 230 for 7 in the stipulated 40 overs, thanks to the spitfire half century knock of Saurabh Shukla. Saurabh, who then shone with the ball, was adjudged the man of the match. In reply, Delhi Administration folded up for 185 in 36.5 overs with Saurabh Shukla and Sushil Kumar claiming three wickets each. Scores: SAIL:

edge past Goswami Club New Delhi, May 5 Young Friends won the toss and opted to field. Goswami Club, after the early exit of Jitender for nought, fought back through Amit Sharma and Agnesh Surya who put on 57 runs for the second wicket. But their middle order batting caved in tamely, failing to tackle the wily spin bowling attack of Akash Mehra to be bundled out for 184 in 39.5 overs. Akash Mehra, who claimed six wickets for 40 runs in 6.5 overs, was named the man of the match. In reply, Young Friends got off to a blazing start, but could not pace up their scoring, despite having enough wickets at hand, to eventually record a nail-biting victory. Young Friends made 187 for 6 and Goswami Ganesh Dutt Club scored 184 all out. Orient Craft lift Phadkar trophy New Delhi, May 5 NIIT were the runners up. Manoj was adjudged the best bowler and P V Jayaprasad of Teri got the best batsman award. Rajesh Gupta, Kapil Gupta and Manoj were presented the best wicket-keeper, best fielder and man of the series awards. HDFC won the Teri Cup with GAIL securing the runners-up position. Dr R K Pachauri of Teri was adjudged the best bowler while Mahesh Chand got the best batsman award.
